Carvelos run on green electricity
With carvelo, we offer an environmentally friendly mobility solution for everyone. We place the highest value on climate protection. In addition to our cooperation with “myclimate”, our fleet of almost 400 Carvelos also runs on naturemade star-certified green electricity.
The green electricity is purchased in the form of “green electricity vignettes” and covers an unlimited number of kilometers and the entire service life of an e-bike. The Association for Environmentally Friendly Energy (VUE) ensures the credibility of the naturemade star quality label and guarantees that the amount of green electricity vignettes sold is invested in naturemade star green electricity. Partners such as “Energie Wasser Bern“, for example, procure the respective amount of green electricity in the form of certificates.
In the sharing offer, our vehicles remain in use for three years and are then replaced by new models. All our new fleet vehicles receive a green electricity vignette at the start and are therefore directly powered by green electricity.
